Take the Red Line to Addison for Wrigleyville, or the Brown Line to Southport or Belmont for the rest of Lakeview.
On a Cubs home day the blocks around Clark and Addison are packed from mid-afternoon, so go early or pick a bar on Southport instead. In the off-season, weeknights here are some of the calmest on the North Side.
