Is Whosly free?
Yes. Creating plans and RSVPing are always free, and the friends you invite never pay a cent. A free account covers up to 3 active plans with the essentials — a live headcount, day-of updates, poll voting, Float it that auto-locks the time, Venmo cost-splitting, ticket tracking, your own places list, reminder texts, and the free Essentials City Packs. Optional Plus and Planner Pro subscriptions add unlimited plans, place and topic polls, co-planners, Magic Plan itineraries, scheduled reminders, and the Deep Cuts and Seasonal packs — and annual plans start with a 7-day free trial.
Do my friends need to download the app to RSVP?
No. You text them one link and they RSVP in a single tap — iPhone or Android, no app and no account. They can even leave a comment that lands right in the plan's chat.
How is this different from a group chat?
A group chat gives you 200 unread messages and still no real answer. Whosly turns every maybe into a live headcount, lets everyone vote on the time or place and locks it in automatically, and keeps the chat, reminders, tickets, and who's arrived all on the plan — nothing buried in the thread.
Can I use it for events months out, and for big groups?
Both. Whether it's dinner tomorrow or a show months away, Whosly tracks every yes, maybe, and no the whole way and sends reminders as the day gets close. And it scales from a four-person dinner to a sixty-person party — the live headcount, +1 tracking, and face pile work either way.
What if we can't agree on a time or place?
Float it. Add a few options, everyone votes, and the plan locks in the winner on its own — so a plan that might've fizzled in the group chat actually happens. Float it and voting are both always free; polls on the place or anything else are part of Plus.
What is Magic Plan?
Magic Plan is an AI day-planner. Describe what you're in the mood for — by typing or just talking — and it builds a real, ordered itinerary from your saved places, with the timing worked out and reservation or ticket links on each stop. Swap any spot you like, or stretch a great day into a two-day trip, then turn the whole thing into a plan and invite everyone in a tap. Planner Pro includes one Magic Plan a month, and anyone can buy a credit pack for more.
What are City Packs and Seasonal Packs?
City Packs are curated lists of a city's best spots that drop straight into your places and onto the map — no typing, no searching. Every city has a free Essentials pack of 25 must-dos. Planner Pro adds Deep Cuts (50+ deeper local favorites) and Seasonal Packs (the newest spots, refreshed each season) in select cities.
What's the difference between Plus and Planner Pro?
Plus is for planning more and deciding together — unlimited plans, place and topic polls, +1 tracking, and custom vibes. Planner Pro adds the heavy-duty tools — Magic Plan itineraries, co-planners, AI event lookup that auto-fills the details, recurring plans, scheduled reminders, and the Deep Cuts and Seasonal place packs.
I don't want a subscription — any other option?
Yes. You can Boost a single plan as a one-time purchase to unlock every pro tool — AI lookup, place and topic polls, scheduled reminders, +1 tracking, and co-planners — just for that one plan. Boost it as you create it, or later from the plan page.
Is my information private?
Yes. A plan is visible only to the people you share its link with, and sharing your general location is opt-in and city-level only — never your exact spot. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Do you run ads or sell my information?
No — and we don't intend to. We don't run ads, sell or rent your information, or track you across other apps. Whosly is funded directly by the people who use it — the optional Plus and Planner Pro subscriptions and AI features — so our only job is to help you make plans, never to hold your attention.

Whosly is an iPhone app. Anyone you invite can RSVP from any phone — iPhone or Android — straight from the link, with no download required.
